I'm constantly getting emails from blue book network about subscribing to their service to provide jobs to bid on. Does anyone have experience with this company? If so, is it worth it for the price you pay for the sales leads. Or does anyone have other ideas or services to increase the amount of projects you were able to bid on?

I get emails from the mag and they have started to put early issues into an archive with the Cincinnatti public library.   it's facinating to look at the old copies, especially the ads for the various products.   EG sign lights with a hooded reflector don't seem to have changed much in design since the 1920's.    I've put a link to the archive below.  i hope they keep doing this because i'd love to see issues from the 1960's/70's when i first started helping my Dad.   https://digital.c

This is a great comparison to show why it's always best to use Red LEDs behind Red Faces, and not use White for everything.     On the left is the one of the brightest white LEDs on the market...The .8watt BrightON II LED Module, on the right the BrightON Ruby Red…also .8 watts per module and probably thee brightest Red LED module on the Market.          When we put a 7328 White acrylic sign face over the white we get a luminance of 240 Foot Candles of Li

Hi all   Does anyone know who does the Cubesmart signs?  I have a bid request for a new location and they asked me to make the exterior channel letters.  That would be easy enough but I'm not the approved vendor.   i told the customer this and said we could at least provide the installation if we aren't allowed to make the signs.   It's possible that Cubesmart doesn't care who makes the signs but I doubt it.   Thanks!   Rocco

  • The Sign Syndicate BrightON II LED Module

Maybe I should have titled it "That BrightON Halo Illumination"

Thought I would share a project where our new High-End 24 volt, .8watt BrightON II LED Modules were used.

As I've discussed before in the past.  There is a difference and a gap between "Usable Light" and "Competitive Light".  The BrightON II is the most efficient (Light per power) LED Module in it's class, and it is the definition of Competitive Light.

As explained here and suggested for spacing, it was chosen to use the 3" module spacer, and obviously  you'll see as you scroll down the spacing could have even been much farther apart.

Hi Guys   So I placed an order for a brand new truck with BOOMCO EQUIPMENT in 2021, the owner goes by FAITH LAMB or FAITH RODRIGUEZ, and after making a 19,250k Deposit, Elliott delayed truck delivery 3 times and more than 6 Months after the date they originally promised and not only that, but they also raised the price another 13k due to material increases and other delays, so I had enough with ELLIOTT and decided to go to ALTEC Instead, took a brand new chassis that was delivered to E

We have an older Sky Hoist and it's developed a problem recently.    When we extend or retract the tubes hop and results in slack in the cables then they will retract until the cables are tight again. • 24V - Sign Cabinet LED Modules

Double Sided Cabinet Light Spacing For LEDs

Most Light Source Suppliers and Manufacturers won't show you examples let alone "numbers" of light readings on Sign Cabinet or Sign Projects from light source components they push like these I'm posting here, but....This is The Sign Syndicate!

"Seeing is believing" as they say.

So, one of the components I've been big on because of feedback and demand is a strong enough LED module that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, isn't proprietary where you need to buy their special clips, brackets, etc, and actually put out enough light without exaggerated "Usable Light" under too far spread spacing that's supposed to save you money that won't compete with other existing signs in the area of your project.

Biggest complaint from sign shops about cabinet LEDs....."I don't want to use a whole bunch of power supplies!"
